Our mission is to resolve diverse, challenging medical needs of people and animals through innovative products that optimize bioavailability and prioritize relief, repair, and recovery.

Our ORIGINS

The story of AOX began with a desire to help people using smart nutrition. In 2010, our CEO, nutritional biochemist and collegiate professor W. Andrew (Andy) Clark, Ph.D., RD, sought to aid a friend that suffered from chronic outbreaks of shingles. With a deep knowledge of nutrition, a love for microbiological research, and supportive colleagues, Andy worked to create a skin-healing ointment made of a combination of vitamins and lavender oil that would facilitate lasting relief and promote healing of the lesions. This ointment not only succeeded against shingles, but surprised many in its ability to work on other skin irritations, too. After further research and testing, this lavender-scented gel was found by veterinarians to be highly effective for skin issues in dogs. After yet more study, patience, and time, Lavengel® was launched in May 2020.

Not long after Lavengel’s debut, Andy met with an old friend and fellow chemistry professional, Jock Palmer. Jock is a chemical engineer and entrepreneur with a particular knack for developing innovative, science-forward companies. Their friendship began in 1997, forming over a shared passion for chemistry, health, and solving the world’s nutrition problems molecule by molecule. When catching up with Andy in 2020, Jock was made aware of Lavengel®. Once he tried it for himself, there was no doubt that Jock wanted to work with Andy on this product and future products to come. After much discussion as to how to make this effort a reality, AOX Biopharma, LLC was formed. 

AOX Biopharma, LLC is a new company dedicated to pooling ideas, resources, and intellectual property to resolve a myriad of health issues with unique, verified, and market-driven products that combine pioneering research with astute molecular nutrition.
